Calibre Global provides project management, engineering and consultancy services to the resources and infrastructure industries and consists of four business units - Calibre Projects, Calibre Controls, Calibre Rail and Calibre Safety Services.
Calibre Projects is a results-focused provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining minerals, processing and energy industries and delivers projects from feasibility study through to commissioning. Based in our client office in Perth and reporting to the General Manager, we require an experienced Engineering Manager to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to control, develop, manage and coordinate the provision of engineering services for Projects so that results are achieved on time and within budget and to agreed quality standards.
In this position you will be required to, manage resources effectively, use existing engineering standards, systems and procedures. manage budgets and manage engineering scheduling.
- In order to be successful for this role :
- You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, coupled with extensive experience in management, , design and consulting
- You will be a self motivated and results-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- You will have the ability to work as part of a team in order to achieve tight deadlines and effectively work with professional engineers in a dynamic project team environment
- You will also be able to work in a pressure environment and take ownership and responsibility for your work. This position reports to the project manager.
