Principal Bulk Materials Handling Engineer

Calibre Global is an Australian-based, international provider of project management, engineering and consultancy services to the resources and infrastructure industries.
We are seeking applications from highly motivated people to fill the role of Principal Materials Handling Engineer to contribute to a range of projects from concept studies to detailed design to construction management on a wide range of project sizes and locations.
With 20+ years experience with bulk materials handling systems in both mining and port areas (crushing, rail loading & unloading conveyors, stockyard systems, ship loading) with a focus on bulk commodities such as coal, iron ore, alumina, concentrates, etc.
- You will have the ability to contribute to a strong team environment with:
- Extensive experience in large scale materials handling systems, specifically coal export terminals
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Demonstrate business development ability (writing proposals and managing bids and tenders) and strong client relationship skills with both new and existing clients
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and influence employees at all levels
- Mentoring and reviewing work of team members.
- To be successful in this role the applicant would posess:
- Mechanical Engineering degree qualifications
- Member of Engineers Australia or at least eligible for membership.
