Lead Cost Engineer

Calibre Global provides project management, engineering and consultancy services to the resources and infrastructure industries and consists of four business units - Calibre Projects, Calibre Controls, Calibre Rail and Calibre Safety Services.
Calibre Projects is a results-focused provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining minerals, processing and energy industries and delivers projects from feasibility study through to commissioning. Based in our client office in Perth and reporting to the Senior Cost Engineer, we require a Cost Engineer to undertake the cost control activities and to work to establish procedures and budgets.
- In this position you will be required to :
- Allocate budgets
- Evaluate and report cost deviations
- Prepare cost monitoring curves
- Report progress achieved
- Report on cost outcomes
- Participats in vendor/contractor bid reviews
- Assist in claims preparation & evaluation
- Identifies scope changes & trend.
- To be successful in this role the applicant would posess:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years general experience in engineering/ construction
- 1-2 years prior experience in cost control
