Calibre Global provides project management, engineering and consultancy services to the resources and infrastructure industries and consists of four business units - Calibre Projects, Calibre Controls, Calibre Rail and Calibre Safety Services.
Calibre Projects is a results-focused provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining minerals, processing and energy industries and delivers projects from feasibility study through to commissioning. Based in our client office in Perth and reporting to the Design Office Manager, we require an Earthworks Designer to join the team on our Brockman 4 Phase II project.
The main purpose of this role is to assist in the preparation of working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches provided by the Engineers or Lead Designers.
- In order to be successful for this role :
- You will have extensive experience as a designer working on road design, drainage and bulk earthworks in the resource and infrastructure sector
- You will also have the ability to produce drawings according to client practice and procedures and all relevant Australian codes
- You will also posses proficiency in civil design packages such as 12D Model and InRoads/MX and have knowledge in MicroStation
- You will be self motivated and results-oriented individual with strong time management and communication
- You will have the ability to work as part of a team in order to achieve tight deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
